I had a friend make my rudder, I plan to test it and see if people are interested in a limited run. I can make in composite which will still be light but not as expensive as carbon and maintain a better updated profile.

Rudder weight: I had my rudder custom made, if you look through the forums there is a nice thread talking about water logged F25 rudders with a few people posting weight. forum link: http://freedomyachts.org/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=11509&hilit=f25+rudder I think the proper weight should be around 60lbs...

July 4th weekend sounds fun, I like the idea of this gathering momentum and not fizzling

I'm all for another gathering, there are so many good spots in the bay to even if we do Dutch again but plan a round island sail one of the days.

I have an inboard and by reducing weight and moving internal weight forward I have been able to raise the stern over 4" I have a new rudder & tiller being made which should drop another 70lbs. but I still don't have much bow weight in the boat thinking of adding 100lbs of diver belts to the bow lock...

were is the boat located? would like to come take a look
