anybody have any input on putting a winged F25 on a mooring, with the wing sail the boat with no sail? can this work or not?

to the forum,
was looking for any feedback about putting an F25 with rotating winged spar on a mooring or anchor, will the winged spar sail the boat, with no sail when it sits on a mooring or anchor?
if yes can the boat be set up so it will be fine at anchor or on a mooring?

what do people feel about melges 24 mail sail compared to full batten freedom sail? this would be for a winged F25?

My reason for wanting an inboard diesel, is I intend to use this boat for cruising more then racing. and the milage and easy of use for long term use and in varying conditions is a bonus, and the ability to make power for electrical equip is nice as well. from what I hear the yanmar is a easy motor ...

to the form, thanx for all your help, the boat I'm looking at is a 82 winged mast with inboard. the boat has been sailed weekly by owner and comes with some spars. last summer I looked at 2 round mast F25 and brought a good friend who inspects and does alot of work on boats.
