Re: Different F25's

I own one 1982 F25 with long windows and a wing mast and a 1984 F25 with opening ports and a round mast. When I mentioned earlier that the interior of the younger boat was fiberglass, I was referring to the settee, quarter berths and v- berth. The interior walls are wood. I am sure you have looked a...

Re: Different F25's

both versions are basically the same boat with a few differences. The F25 with long window are older and generally have an all wood interior (and more likely a wing mast) and no opening ports, while the younger F25 have a fiberglass interior and 4 opening ports.

Re: Does the F32 mast have an internal tube for wiring?

Sorry to disappoint you Mtryon, but my experience has been the same on all (6) of my Freedom masts; no conduit in the mast to carry the wires to the top. The clear (no stick) plastic I found inside my masts, was not used to wrap the wires but was used in the manufacturing process of the mast, as a b...

Re: F25 RM Running Rigging

Jack, only the halyard for the spinnaker should be different on the round mast compared to the wing mast because the round mast has a fractional spinnaker.

Re: Freedom 25 questions

The headroom in my F25 is 58" both in the cabin and V-berth. The V-berth is actually a little higher because of the hatch. I have only seen one centerboard F25 and she was in England. I think the centerboard model was only manufactured on the Isle of Man.
BTW my round mast F25 is for sale.

Re: Racing?

Hello moosemcclintock,

Which sail loft made your flat head mains for your F21? I am in the market for a new set of sails for my F28Ck and would like to explore designing two flat head sails.

Re: F25 Sliding Hatch fittings

The easiest, quickest and cheapest way to fix the cracked hatch channel is reuse the existing channels after you switch them port to stb. and front to back. There is plenty of perfectly good channel under the hatch slide cover. You will have to cut the compound angles at the ends and drill and count...
