Re: 28 CB Cat Ketch Accommodations Question??
Hi John A non Freedom boat I had a few years ago had a stretcher like berth that could be rigged above the normal settee berth in the main cabin. It was a sheet of canvas secured on the outboard side but had a pole that was then moved out to a pair of wooden cup brackets on the inboard side. This th...

Re: Topping Lift for Camberspar
Hi Scott
The manual for the F32 (http://freedomyachts.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8564) does have a nice diagram showing where the topping lift for the camber spar attaches but does not have details of the cordage.
I was looking a the same thing at the weekend.
Keep well
Peter

Re: New Freedom 33 owner in the Solent area.
I now have the various bills of sale and have found that her original name was Fancy Freedom, then Dodge M and now Feronia. I won't be changing her name. Fancy Freedom was the vessel reviewed in the UK magazines Yachting Monthly and Practical Boat Owner. It is nice to know some of the history.

New Freedom 33 owner in the Solent area.
Hello and thanks to everyone for this font of knowledge on all things Freedom. I have been an avid reader over the last few months and have now taken ownership of a UK built Freedom 33 Cat Sloop. It will be a few weeks yet until I get her tidied up and into the water. I haven't seen many Freedoms in...

Mast partners for UK F33 CS
I have just had a UK F33 CS surveyed and one area the surveyor is recommending is having the mast unstepped and the mast partners at the deck replaced. This is an aluminium mast for the Cat Sloop. Does anyone know if these are still produced or where I might obtain an set? I get the feeling this may...

Differences between HoytF32 and the Cornish Hoyt F33
Hi all What are the differences between the Hoyt Design F32 Cat Sloop and the F33 Cat Sloop made in Cornwall. Main difference I can see is the F33 name vs F32 and that the F33 has an aluminium mast rather than Carbon Fibre...Steering gear would be another... Anything further? Many thanks for your he...

Anything to look out for on an F32 alloy mast?
Hi I am looking at an F33 (F32 in the US) that has the sloop cat rig. Is there anything I should be wary of or especially look out for? I understand most seem to have had the carbon masts and they seem to have a good reputation but I can find very little about the alloy masts other than some vague c...
