3/4 per coat for my F-33. Did 4 coats...

Well. Had to take a more drastic route. Removed a section where the front mounts go. Will get some 1/2 plate steel to go beneath and support with some angle iron/aluminum. Will drop the overall front 1.5 inches and allow me to match angles with the motor and shaft.

New problem.

Shaft is at 13.1 degrees
Motor is at 17.8 degrees.

Will try lowering the front to see what I get.

A few on-site mods but it's there. Will do another mockup taking into account the close proximity of the stock motor mounts.

My back mounts sit higher than the front and it's tight against the hull. Now to load up the mockup, drive 30 miles and see if I am getting close.

I will get a more "final" photo once it's cleaned up and installed. Refocusing on pre engine installation.

Hmm guess I should paint back there before putting the motor in...

New shaft seal.

It sure beats mixing sand into paint. This will be my route (kiwi) once I get there.

Have the lower gudgeon in Anchorage. New brass bearing and clean up of the actual gudgeon being done. Nothing easy or cheap in Alaska. 12 hour drive and $1200 bill staring me in the face.
