Re: cockpit contrl panel

Different panel than mine, but if you can get your hands on the Yanmar shop manual it may have some leads. I'll check mine when I'm next on TY to see how much detail on that panel they provide.

Re: Messing about in the bilge...

We still have 'bilge scent' even with the recent cleaning. I'm sure there's stuff up under the sole, but still surprised how much she still Mel's. More of a sour scent now... Any tips in addition/ instead of a full steam bath that may be a quick fix based on experience? We generally hav 1/2 inch or ...

Re: Fortress anchor

I've used a FX16 on my F32 through last season. I have a mooring hitch center at the bow which I run the chain around and then drop through the hawse pipe. I run a bungee between the block attachment points (reinforced gun mount setup) which helps keep the anchor down on deck with and secure on the ...

Was the Coert process painless? Any gotchas with the company? Expecting to be in same situation this summer.

Re: Narragansett Bay Get Together 2016

I'm not going to be able to join the weekend of 4th of July as I'll be sailing in Maine, hoping someone can take on coordination to ensure this new tradition continues. Craig, would you be able to lead the coordination and details for 4th of July weekend?

Re: Narragansett Bay Get Together 2016

Looking like I'm going to have to defer some of the planning work for the G2G this year due to workload. 4th of July sounds fun, with appropriate plans to avoid the crowds and crazies...

I'll check on mooring availability at Dutch Harbor for that weekend and advise.

Re: Messing about in the bilge...

I don't have the brand handy, but a gallon of "Bilge Cleaner" and a few buckets of water. I had bought from Defender at their warehouse sale last year.

Worked fine with a stiff bristle brush to loosen dried on stuff, with a sponge for wipe down.
