Hey folks I have the shuttle reefing blocks and they work well. But they clang around inside the boom a lot. It is really annoying. Do you folks have this problem or know of a solution for it?

I just had to cut off a couple of feet and splice a new eye into my job halyard. It even had a special cover on it to protect it. I know the shackle is oriented wrong. It isn’t wide enough. I will have to replace it. In the meantime this shackle is way overkill so strength shouldn’t be a problem.
