Re: F 35 radar

I'm also planning on adding a wifi radar on a pole mount off my transom this winter. What radar are you using?

Re: Prop shaft nightmare

Very interesting. It's certainly possible, as I didn't install the new seals myself. I'll have to take a look before I make up my mind.

Re: Prop shaft nightmare

Very interesting. At the recommendation of Paul Dennis I am planning to replace my Norscot seal with the Tides Marine seal, since it continuously leaked ATF into my bilge, despite being rebuilt last winter (new lip seals and shaft hose). However, your story gives me pause. Apart from the fact that t...

First, I attached a small LED flashlight to the underside of the locker lid: IMG_0004 (1).jpg The flashlight is just a generic one from Amaz...

Re: Yanmar 3GM30F exhaust water plumbing

Hey Stephen, Good meeting you the other day! I'm a little skeptical, because I can't imagine how exhaust water could be streaming through my prop. It also doesn't seem like it would be a "telltale," as the outgoing water can't be seen from the cockpit. The main exhaust hose is routed to the port sid...

Re: Yanmar 3GM30F exhaust water plumbing

Hey Rich, Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this setup! As you can see in the picture, the screw that's supposed to be supporting the T connector isn't actually screwed into anything, so it's just been hanging there for a while (at least since I bought the boat). Last night I mounted the T conn...
