Re: Topic 1000
Thinking about trying to improve the insulating properties of my refrigerated icebox. Currently running the engine twice a day for 30 to 40 minutes each time to keep the batteries charged. I run it in the afternoon anyway to heat shower water, would love to reduce it to once a day. I'm not sure how ...

Re: Advice on upgrades to Freedom 35
Thanks Mike, that is a big help. Looks like that is the logical location given the proximity to the water lines leading to the shower stall. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

Re: Advice on upgrades to Freedom 35
Thanks Ed, the pics do help. Nice set up.
Circle, I know your boat. I am just across and down river in North Cove, 3rd mooring in on the starboard side as you enter. Nice looking boat you have.
I appreciate the feedback. My stern is a little crowded, trying to visualize it so the pics help.

Re: Advice on upgrades to Freedom 35
Hi Ed,
I'm interested in the make and model (lots of choices) and how it is installed (before I cut a hole in my boat). Any pics would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

This boat is going to make someone very happy. FYI the link to your dropbox photos doesn't work for me.

Advice on upgrades to Freedom 35
We are nearing the end of our first season on our Pedrick 35. Very happy with the boat. Of course part of the happiness is in tinkering... I have noticed that some models later than ours (1995) have dedicated storage behind the fold up dining table. Has anyone added this to an older boat? Also seen ...

Re: camberspar question
Thanks very much. I paid the yard to rig things my first season and this is very helpful!tnltracy wrote:The bolt through the shieve at the front of the spar should go through the grommets in the sail as well. Looks like an extra loop has been added extending it forward an inch or so.
See attached.

Re: camberspar question
Bob; The long arm at the aft end of the spar should come down to the jib sheet, not to the topping lift. This arm gives it the twist it needs to flip. This should solve this problem. Enjoy Ed, that makes sense. I thought that extra shackle on the arm was kind of strange, I'll flip the arm 180 degre...
