Re: Bay Area meet up
After months of sittin' `n da slip, SweeTART has a running diesel. Taking her out to this weekend for trial run. Still a trickle of oil leak, but hopefully just a paper towel cleanup. Will keep eyes peeled here for a chance to meet everyone. Have a new windlass installed, ready to drop anchor somewh...

Have seen solutions that inserted a bladder into existing tank.

Re: Injector knock
Mike- What have you got in the way of filtering inline before the injectors? In our odyssey to get our engine 'right', realized that getting out in some chop would kick up all those microbes and put more particulate matter into the fuel lines. The Raycor seems to be keeping up with anything of late....

Re: Treasure Island Rendezvous
Definitely up for another adventure. Carole not buying a tour under the GG Bridge, but the whole bay is OK. Not this weekend, as birthday girl is heading to Chico celebrating with daughter. SweeTART is out of commission. Can't find an oil leak that mysteriously has yet to reappear after two 30 minut...

Re: Treasure Island Rendezvous
Safe and sound... Bugged out after another bugging from "I've been here since Friday..." who continued to explain his concern over predicted easterly winds. Since our two boats were already pointed that direction, wasn't too sure why the issue needed to be raised--again--but figured it was better t...

Re: Treasure Island Rendezvous
Carole and I will push out of Coyote Point sometime around 8am. Should be at TI well before noon.
You'll recognize us. The mast with no shrouds or stays.

Re: Treasure Island Rendezvous
Thank you both for the 'local knowledge'. We'll just have to get started early. Long haul from Coyote Point to Clipper Cove. Next question. Can we sail under the new section of the SFO Bridge? The chart refers to allowed but must have prior communication with USCG. 'Notice to Mariners' seems to indi...

Re: Treasure Island Rendezvous
We are ready to go, BUT ... Prepping the numbers for the trip and estimating an arrival time, reread the various reports of depth soundings at Clipper Cove. Ugh! SweeTART drafts 6'6". Everything I'm reading says the indicated depths in the cove translate more to high tide than actual MLLW. Ugh! Knew...

Re: Treasure Island Rendezvous
Thanks for update. We're still on plan. A Kaboat to arrive before the weekend. The depicted transom mounted motor might be the way we go eventually. Paddle power only this weekend. Anyone with experience driving a dinghy with electric trolling motors? Am out of state as well, as least that's what pe...
