I can chime in late here - bought my F 35 (p) October 2016 - took possession and took her from Alameda to Emeryville (short distance) - I raised the mainsail in Alameda and immediately got the main halyard jammed tight with the lazy jack bracket stbd side - all due to me not making sure the halyard ...

Mack Pack

I installed a Mack pack with new main - Mack pack has battens near the top by the zipper. The lazy jacks tie into those battens to keep the whole thing up and tight - mainsail has antal mast track system and the main drops like a rock right into the Mack pack. Tonight I went out in almost dead calm to try things out - re-fit reefing lines to the original single line and butterfly blocks system - I know I have heard bad things about that system....Second reef line to leech end of boom was still too short _ about 2' -- I added another line with a sheet bend...

One of my latch dogs for a stainless steel portlight broke in half around the dog bolt - are these Bomar or Amar (or are those two the same thing?) - anyone know how to get a replacement? Thanks Ha ok, they are Man Ship Manufacturing with a dealer in Chino Ca! Sweet. Dealer is marinedepotdirect.com

one more of the Mack Pack and New Main -- dodger to be added still :) Updated today - dodger added - pic shows frame and canvas on with no snaps yet - today I drilled all the snaps - project completed except calibrating instruments. - almost 6 months :(

Deck gel-coat repair is completed :) All the non-skid was done too - yes in THAT color :) - smooth looks great. Instruments all work fine - i70S shown (3-in-1), Ray 70 VHF remote shown with mic clip. Still need to re-install dodger, and am now installing mack pack and mack mainsail -..

Ah Bill - Good Way II will be on the bay around 7/11/17. We are keeping her in Stockton this month to refit and we have a wedding here 7/7/17 (one daughter). Look forward to meeting you!
