Re: RACING A F-25
How old is your main? If it is more than 10 years old it is probably blown out of shape and a new sail will decrease heal and increase speed both on and off the wind.

Re: Freedom 33 Cat-ketch, centerboard, well equipped.
I wish that I were in a position to make an offer but, I have just started saving this year for my next Freedom. My plan is to save up $12k a year and be in a position to buy a centerboard Freedom 33 cat ketch or preferably, a Freedom 40 cat ketch in five years. Your boat would definitely be on my s...

Re: Update Info - F21 Flat-Top Sail
Hi Wilfred,
I got my sail made by Mack Sails in Stuart, FL to a design Moose had done for him by another loft. I'll see if I can find the links this weekend.

Re: Wanted Spinnaker and Staysail for F 21
Hi, I haven't seen any used for sale recently. My current Rolly Tasker spinnaker (National Sail Supply) suffered some damage two weeks ago in high winds during a regatta, so I've just received a quote for a replacement. $600 including shipping from Phuket, Thailand. Schurr Sails in Pensacola, FL mad...

Re: Gun Mount Spinnakers
The Gunmount poll on my F21 is not tapered. This has an advantage (IMHO) of not needing to unship the pole to store it. Just swing the pole all the way parallel to the port or starboard life line and the retract the pole if you wish. I usually don't bother with retracting and leave it extended like ...

F36 cat ketch?
A little help please. YachtWorld has a listing (with photos) for a 1986 Freedom 36 (hull #16) cat ketch. I've heard of the F36 sloop, but I thought that rig was only offered on the 28, 33, 39, 40, & 44 foot hulls. The listing does not list LOA, LWL, BEAM, or DRAFT, so any help there would also be ap...

Re: Staysails on cat ketchs & cat schooners
Thanks, TM. Some nice photos on the link! I like the 39 express ketch and pilothouse schooner but with their > 5' draft, I've pretty much eliminated them from my list of future homes, as I live on a Tennessee River lake. When I get around to buying it will be a 33 or 40 with a keel centerboard hull.
