Re: Best way to run wires to Radar/chartplotter

On my 1996 F35, Pedrick design, All radar, gps, and autopilot wires are fed through the 1" pedistal. Some on the right, some on the left post. A caution on the new chartplotter. If you are integrating with existing hardware check with the manfacturer to see that they are compatable. I found my older...

Re: In Hull Transducer

I have an 1996 F35, Pedrick design. I added a thru hull about 2 ft to one side of keel and when the core was removed it was a good 2 inches thick ( and dry!).

Re: Dripless Shaft Seal

I also had a small leak and was able to stop it by sliding the collar aft so that it pressed tighter against the carbon? bushing/bellows. There are two set screws, one under the other, that hold the collar in place the first has to be removed to access and loosen the second.

Re: F-35 Pedrick Mast Height Above Waterline

The Pedrick F-35 has a mast above water height of 54.5 ft. Add your antenna and/or masthead lights to get the total clearance. I have measured this and it is consistent with the published number.

Re: 3gm30f secondary bleed screw on my F38, HELP, how to tighten

I have had a similar leaky bleed screw. I replaced washers and tightened but it would work loose. Then of course I over tightened and stripped out the threads in the housing. Then $45 lighter and with new pump in hand I replaced the pump and have not had a problem since. I do "snug up" the bleed scr...

Re: F 35 running rigging replacement

Hi Mark,
I have a copy of the F35 running rigging list. However, it is on the boat and it will be about a week before I get back down. I'll post it after I get it.

Which boat did you buy?

Re: Yanmar locked up

I have a 3gm30f and had similar problem. Starter may click like a dead battery or do nothing, no click. I change the starter switch worked for a bit then resumed problem. Traced wiring back and found a starting relay wired in (looked to be OEM) however the relay was not in the wiring diadram. Also f...
