Is this a Freedom?

Many of you have already seen this incident from Redondo Beach Sea Rescue. Is there anyway to tell if this is a Freedom that survived that thrashing on the jetty? I see no spreaders or standing rigging... maybe I am wrong.

Carbon Fiber Camber Spar?

No doubt this has been mentioned somewhere before, but I did not see it. While showing off my boat, discussion turned to the Bierig spar. I was asked if a carbon fiber replacement would be of benefit. Weight came to mind of course, but I am wondering if anyone has made this modification or may have ...

Re: Anyone using a competitor to the Milwaukee Right Angle?

Anyone using a competitor to the Milwaukee Right Angle?

A click at Amazon shows at least a half dozen of powerful right angle drills that could be used for raising the main on an F32. All are less expensive. Any ideas?

Re: broke my arm falling off the boat

My GF would ask me why I go barefoot in life except on the deck of a boat. Until she got a bruised tailbone. ;)

Re: Camberspar bent, now what?

This may or may not be of interest, but I believe it was Mr. Hoyt who gave me this contact info for the current owner of the Bierig Camberspar:

Bill Coleman: 814 474 3370

Hope it is still a good contact.
