Re: Rudder problem
As 1980raven said its not actually the hull you cut into. Its the thin liner from the inside of the cockpit. I think the emergency tiller is the one thing I don't have a picture of. Its basically an aluminum pipe with aluminum plates welded to each side to create a box that fits over the rudder and ...

Re: Rudder problem
I have a US built F-33. I installed a wind vane and the lower brackets of the vane were near this. To make the installation easier/feasible I installed 4" or 5" circular access openings with screw in covers. On the starboard side I did one below and one above the engine cutoff so I could more easily...

Re: New Torqueedo 801 Battery for sale cheap
This is for the torqueedo electric dinghy motor. Not something you could use in your house or starter bank.

New Torqueedo 801 Battery for sale cheap
I received a new battery as part of a recall but had problems with the actual motor and don't need it. New $600. Sell for $75 plus shipping. Since its Lithium Ion easier to pick up then ship if possible. Massachusetts.

Re: volvo penta md 7a exhaust water flow stopped
Probably this won't help. But one year when I was starting up my engine for the first time of the season (its a yanmar but the seawater side is a standard jabsco pump with impeller) there was no seawater flow. I checked everything with no luck. I finally disconnected one of the hoses to the pump and...

Re: Any non-cored solid glass in Freedom hulls?
On my US built F-33 the balsa goes a bit past the turn of the bilge and solid after that. The original thru hulls appear to have solid material built up around them and some are below the balsa anyway. One added by a previous own I removed and they hadn't sealed the balsa but it wasn't wet. I cut it...

Re: Noisy masts.
I have an F-33. I know the arrangement is different but in case my situation provides anything relevant I thought I'd provide it. My mast fit in a circular aluminum base. They originally had a bolt with threads patricianly filed down through the base into a hold in the mast to prevent rotation. Thes...
