Re: LINK 5000 DATAMARINE DEPTH sending unit replacement

You might try dmi http://www.dmimarine.com.

I had a similar problem ten years ago that they were helpful with. I haven't dealt with them since though.

Re: Engine preparations - origional F32 yanmar

Good luck with your new boat

A few things to check:
All thru hulls and hoses. These things can get stuck and or hoses get brittle.
Head operation 5 or moe hours is along time to hold it in
Engine operation.. If in water we hope you ran her tied to dock or mooring under load

iPad navigation

Has anyone found an app that offers the functions of a chart plotter? Such as: Course to steer, Cross track error, Distance to waypoint, Time to waypoint.

I sail on several different boats and would like a program that would function wherever I am.

Sold my F 36 yesterday.

Thanks to all on the forum who have helped work out problems along the way. I've enjoyed the boat for the last ten years and am now open to crew for anyone in the general area of Massachusetts.

I have a mack pack on my f36, also tides marine strong track. My main comes down like a freight train. It is all down except the last foot or so. I just make sure the halyard is free to run. There is a small amount of sail to be tucked in. I had a Doyle stack pack on a prior boat that did work a lit...

Re: Stern pulpit problems, top opening no longer closes on F

I have had similar problem with my F36. So far I have been able to close it by pushing hard on the port side of the railing with one hand and fitting the bar into the gate with my other hand. Sometimes requires a very hard push. In my case the removable pin is on the port side of the moveable bar.
