Re: Fixing the Traveler or at least trying to.
That's the issue, it won't slide off unless I remove that large Philips screw, as confirmed by the Harken guy I spoke with.

Fixing the Traveler or at least trying to.
Well, last fall the traveler started to bleed ball bearings. I contacted Harken to find that there is a repair/reloader. Sounded easy. The problem has been getting the end controls off. I got the sheaves off (lost all the bearings in them but they were all broken up and looking like rice anyway) but...

Re: Fridge Monitor - Tempo Disc
Have used the Tempo Disc and have been very satisfied. Easy to read, via blu tooth, on my iphone anywhere on the boat. I simply put it on the middle shelf. I found battery life, if you don't turn it off, to be several weeks.

Re: F-30 Dodger/bimini Wanted
You might contact Neil Thurston at Thurston Canvas in Bristol, RI. I would think he has the templates for the dodger. I know he made mine for my F38 off of his records and only had to do the snap fitting on the boat. Perhaps this latter stage could be done by you. It is worth a chat with him. Good g...

Re: Replaced my ARS-4 Balmar voltage regulator, want it?
I replaced it with the Balmar 614 which reads the voltage at the battery and adjusts the output to ensure I'm getting the 14.3 that I need for my agm batteries. Also much easier to program with readout vs idiot lights. I also now have battery temp sensing in addition to the alternator temp that I al...

Replaced my ARS-4 Balmar voltage regulator, want it?
I replaced my old ARS-4 with a more modern unit. If you would like it I would be happy to send it to you for the cost of the postage. I hate throwing working things away. You will probably need the wiring harness (but not necessarily), but it isn't expensive.
Let me know if you can use it.

Re: Wind speed shows 0.0
All fixed. Send the board to Myles in Florida. He diagnosed the board, repaired it, recoated it and send it back. All within two weeks. Put it back in the masthead unit and climbed up the mast to reinstall. All good as new.

Re: Rigger in RI
Just rebuilt it as it was but suggested I put a wire clamp on it so as to not stress the lower fitting. They suggested at anchor I put the halyard on the end of the boom to minimize pumping.
