I installed a removable, circular, plastic port light just off the deck so I could reach back and operate those two valves. Works OK.

Has anyone on the list raced their Freedom (specifically looking for F32-Hoyt design) in either the Marion to Bermuda race or the Bermuda 1-2 race? The other end of the halyard line (after it necks down to a smaller diameter) goes thru the spinaker bag/sock and ties to a point in the middle of the spinaker. The halyard and sheets are eased and this line is pulled in to douse and pull the sail into the bag.
