I cannot find much info. This boat seems to be a very simple and fun
boat. Any input on what you do or do not like would be greatly
appreciated. The boat also seems to be of a nice quality as well.
Also…What is the length of the boom and the luff of the main
sail…Thanks for ANY comments!!! PS… any links to more info?

Mark:
Here are some dim’s of the sail.
Luff - P 8.62 meters
Foot - E 3.87 "
It is simple and easy to sail. As a newby I’ve had a lot of fun
learning.
I am buying one too and have a pile of information now.
I suggest the following:
Go through the old Freedom archive, pre-Yahoo (see later posting
for address). Unfortunately the search function does not seem to work
with numbers so you can’t search for F 25 for example. I searched
for ‘F’ and got a lot of good stuff on F 25’s by hand weeding.
Go to the UK site www.ybw.com and buy their 1982 Practical Boat
Owner magazine revue. It’s got some nice photos but their comments on
sailing performance and handling etc are vague and not very helpful
eg ‘she tacks through a narrow arc’.
Go to www.dwergreen.com
This is a very useful Freedom 21 site but you will also find some
stuff on Freedom 25, and the Freedom 21 info is relevant.
I have been given a couple of reviews which I will post to you
(from the UK) if you let me have your address. Email me at
