I replaced my head with a Lavac. We have been very happy. It is well thought of,
and recommended on the cruising world bulletin board (now cs-bb), and by many
world cruisers. I have had no problems with it, and would do it again.

Subject: RE: [freedomyachts2003] toilet questionsI don’t know what is standard, but there seems to be virtually universal
agreement that the PHII is the best marine head for under $1K. It won’t
cost much more than the parts for your Skipper.Al Lorman

Subject: [freedomyachts2003] toilet questionshey all,
just wanted some advice on marine toilets. we are replacing all the
hoses in the front head of our f45 and then decided to pull off the
toilet. we currently have a wilcox crittenden skipper that was
probably installed 10-15 years ago. it needs replacement parts that
will add up to about $150. i know that the wilcox is a good toilet, but
not sure if we should spend the money on it. we have also been told to
look into the raritan ph2 manual head. what type of head comes
standard with freedoms?any advice would be appreciated!
