I picked up a copy of Sail magazine yesterday and saw an article by
David Schmidt called “Friendly Competition.” It’s about the Pro-Am
Regatta at the Bitter End Yacht Club. On page 57 there’s a photo of
three Freedom 30s, one of which being driven by Rod Johnston, designer
of the J/24. Just wondered if anybody else saw this article.

The BEYC has been using F30s
since they were new, week in and week out. They’re living proof of
just how tough our boats are.
