Cracked Racor Bowl

I have a Hoyt 32 with a 3GMF.

Recently when tightening up the bolt on the bottom of my Racor
diesel/water separator I heard a loud crack. I can see a crack in
yellow plastic. Now I think it is time to replace it, although it is
not leaking.

Any suggestions?

Should I go to a completely new unit?

Any suggestions regarding the spin-on units? Pros and cons?

Scott,
No, you do not have to replace the complete item. I assume you have a Racor 500. I just replaced the bowls on both my 500’s. If I remember correctly they are approx 30 dollars each. But I could be wrong on the price.
