Yes, Emmylou has, and uses, a class staysail.
I haven’t tacked it to pole end yet, just sleeve.

Re: Putting a vent in the hatch. Sean, I did use the deck port for a Nicro solar vent. Photo: http://www.freedom21.info/images/bluemerle/BMDeckPortChangedToVent.jpg However, my vent didn’t extend that far down. You may still be able to get away with with you’ve got. There is a bit of room up there. So long as it clears the hatch. Careful measurements. You’ll need to change the 4" deck port anyway, so remove it and test it with a dry fit. Nice improvements. I fitted the area you use as your “nav station” as the galley stove. photo: http://www.freedom21.info/images/bluemerle/BMORIGO2000stove.jpg You could have both - just cut a board to go over the stove. What do you use for a stove / cooking? I.e., boiling water for tea or coffee while anchored or on a mooring. -John Sean Mulligan <quadmulligan@…> wrote: Hi - I have posted some pictures with comments at:http://www.seanmulligan.com/Stories/Improvements/index.htmlYes, Emmylou has, and uses, a
