What exactly is an “Owners Association?”

Group with a common interest. In our case owners of Freedoms. When
the builder is still active sometimes the owners association can
help influence the builder and get support or information from them.
Sometimes they can arrange special custom parts for certain boats in
bulk at a discount.
Mostly I’d imagine it will be to share information in a more
organized way.
Check out www.nonsuch.org. Its the owners association for the
Nonsuch boats. They are no longer in production (sort of like
Freedoms).

that means that you can’t join the club if you borrowed, rented or
stole a Freedom boat.

On the other hand, most owners groups will let anyone willing to pay
in. Maybe we should have called it the Freedom Lovers Society.
