The water heater in my F-33 has been dead since I bought it the boat.
It appears to be a Torrid cylindrical heater. Has anybody put a new
water heater in a F-33? If so, what did you get and where did you
install it?

As for your question, on my 33 the HW
heater is located above the exhaust water lift/muffler. It sits in a molded area
and has strapps over it screwed the the molded shelf. I’m in the process
of replacing it with as isotemp stainless steel slimline 4 gallon which has the
same diameter as the current one and should fit very well. It comes with an AC
heater as well as the engine HW heat exchanger, mixing valve etc built in.
