The line drawing for the F25 lazy jacks is a little hard to make out. I can see
that the ropes are
reaved through the block on the wire, but how do they attach to the boom? Are
they just
looped under the boom with little tails tied at the loops? Can anyone help?

On my F25 the forward line loops thru’ a pad eye on the underside of
the boom and the aft lines are tied to a cleat. When you rais the
main, you have to be careful that the battens don’t catch. Usually
only the first can catch, the others are long enough not to catch.

There is a single line that does it all. Tie it through the hole in
the cleat at the rear using a bowline, thence to the block on the
wire, then through the fitting on the underside of the boom forward,
then through the block on the other side, and then to the cleat where
all this started. The cleat permits some adjustment as to how high
the boom is supported. Herm
