Does anyone have a set of line drawings for the F33 boat.
-
What is the access to the settee behind the Centerboard like.
-
What is the shower like, is there enough elbow and standing room.

I have an F33 non-centerboard. I spoke
with the original designer Jay Paris and he said he has line drawings. I think
he’d like to sell them to us as a group. Not sure what the price would
be. If you’re interested let me know.
You can find some pictures of the
centerboard version on boats.com and yachtworld.com . Most of the European boats
(the F-33 was called the F-35 when built in England)
were centerboards I believe but there may also be some US ones for
sale. In the pictures its clear that the table that houses the centerboard goes
all the way to the galley so you can only enter the settee from forward of it.
This is one of the tradeoffs.
Can’t help you on the shower in the
centerboard model. In mine the head has a sump under the grate in the head. Not
a separate shower stall. Not bad if you don’t mind spraying water all
over the head. We usually shower on deck.

I used to have an F35 catketch with centreboard. A UK built one. The
settee is reached from the aft side around the mizzen. The table is
mounted to the CB casing and can be folded away alltogether. It’s a
two ply table, small size with raised edges for happy hour and
dinner at sea, folded out good for dinner and board games in port.
Very cosy all. The head/shower in the UK version is forward of the
settee area. I’m 6’6" and could shower there, standing with my head
bent or sitting on the WC. Everything gets wet, but you can do
showers. Problem is the tankeage and the size of the water heater.
