Has anyone found a good way to clean what we have always called
Monkey Fur that is used to cover the ceiling in the forward cabin?
Could you share how you have organized storage in the galley? where
did you put dishes/pots/ glasses. Did you simply use the microwave
for storage? I fear that once we put things somewhere they will stay
there forever. If you found some things that worked for you, I would
appreciate the chance to learn from your experience.
Thanks

On my parent’s F38 (#152) we keep the dishes in a rack aft of the companionway ladder. Holds service for 8 I believe (small & large plates, couple sizes of bowls as well). For Cups we use plastic that is stackable in the sliding storage behind the stove. For stemware, a rack from West Marine mounted above the bookshelf outboard of the port setee. Pots and pans stashed below the stove or under the galley sink.Food lives in the “well” (deep cabinet in the countertop). For chips, bread, fruit etc. a small hammock hung outboard of the port setee. On a related note: A neat trick we stole from a Hunter to add counter space in the galley was a folding attachment mounted adjacent to the galley sink. It stows flat against the cabinet, but can be raised
up to stage dirty dishes. If you are skinny, you can fit past it to walk forward. Stephen Deweyhttp://www.linkedin.com/in/stephendeweyFrom: ereiss <ereiss@…>To: FreedomOwnersGroup@yahoogroups.comSent: Monday, November 10, 2008 12:33:38 PMSubject: [FreedomOwnersGroup] F38 - new to me - questions
