I recently bought a Freedom 25 and have been trying to locate the hull identification plate without any luck. I’m not even sure whether this model originally had one. If it does, where should I expect to find it?
Thanks,
Ben

Congrats on the boat!
There is often no actual plate. The number is imprinted in the hull on the transom. Check around the transom a couple inches below the deck. They are gel coated over and sometimes kinda hard to see, but it is there so look carefully
Search the site for hull number. Should be plenty of info how to interpret the number you find. .
That is where mine is as well. I believe it’s on the starboard side of the transom just below the deck.
Thanks for the info! I’ll take a look.
You might check the title/registration, Mine is TSP (Tillotson-Pearson, the builder) 25 (model) 045 (Hull number 45) M82H (year 1982, unsure what the M and H stand for)
I concur with these statements.
Wow, a Freedom 25. Nice, simple. Slight problem with head room. We cruised from Marblehead to Northeast Harbor in Maine with our 4 or 5 year old son 33 years ago. Great memories. In m y choice, I’d go back to it. The bigger the boat, the more problems and expense.
