I’m in the process of upgrading the mainsheet system on my F-30.
Just replacing the sheet with the proper size line and adding three
Garhauer blocks to the boom have made a major difference. I’d like
to replace the stand-up Schaeffer block on the port side of the
coach top, but I have no idea what lies beneath the four bolts in
the padeye base. Has anyone done this job? Do you have to remove
the cabin liner to get to the nuts on the end of the bolts? Any
thoughts would be appreciated.
