Freedom 36 Head Installation

Posted by mdaitz (mdaitz@…>)

I am thinking about installing a small (6 gallon) fresh water tank in
the space underneath the sink to supply fresh water to the head inlet
to flush with (so not to have to use sea water). Does anyone know if
it will be ok to cut a 2" whole in the bottom of this cabinet in order
to run a hose to the area near the sea water seacock and then up to the
head inlet? The last thing that I want to do is to drill the hole
through thhis bottom and into something like the holding tank. Thanks
for the input.

In my F36 the holding tank was below the compartment below the sink. If
your layout is the same, your fears are well founded. The simplest
thing to do is tee off your sink drain with a slide valve below the
tee. Run a hose from the tee to the head inlet. Just close the slide
valve, fill your sink with water and flush the head. Voila!
