Hello there,
I am interested in the 40/40 and wondering if anybody has performance
related data and any other words of wisdom.
Many thanks and looking forward to be a real member!,

Michael,
I have a copy of the polar diagrams that might be useful for you. Let
me know if you want them and I’ll scan and forward a copy to you.
Having raced a Freedom 40/40 a little bit including one Marion Bermuda
race I can tell you this is a very fast, stable, and ocean capable boat
with a wonderful bright and accommodating interior and a great
cockpit. Good luck.

Thank you very much for your offer. I would love to see the polars. You can email the file to my yahoo address: vyzas@… There are a few 40/40’s in the market that look interesting. Unfortunately, they need to be ICW friendly, so no deep keels.
Thnx again,
Michael Karfopoulos
PS My last boat (long story why it is not anymore) was an X-412 Mk III

I am looking at some 40/40’s – did you buy one? What can you tell
me about them? – Chuck Gleason
