This could work but mine is round so the
size of the square is important. Al give me some part numbers and I have
order one to test.

That
is the mushroom cap for the new Bomar hatch handles. That part comes with
the replacement handles now sold by Bomar and it will not fit the handles originally
fitted on their hatches. Seems nuts to have to replace the entire handle
unit when the only part that’s broken is the mushroom cap, but I’ve
been there and done that.
