information on installing and flying the spinnaker on our 36’ freedom

Simonds at our dock we finally tested it on Sunday. We had our friend ,
in a Nonsuch 33 ’ standing by to take photo’s and WOW did we fly.Well
worth all the effort, thanks again to ALL the people that responded.

Ain’t it grand? We sailed in a local race this weekend and passed 2 boats
on the downwind leg, one a Pearson 39 flying an asymmetrical. We were
experimenting with wind angle the day before the race and could just about
keep the sail full on a beam reach. We find best performance on a broad
reach. It reminds me of Ron Popeil’s “set it and forget it”.
