Headliner in head on Freedom 38

Posted by pelfrey_jerry (jerry.pelfrey@…>)

Any suggestions on a method to re-attach my headliner in the head.
Part of the headliner has come unglued due to moisture and I am
interested in a proper fix.
Thank you.

The headliner consists of a foam backed vinyl material glued to a
1/8" ply wood substrate which is held in place by the horizontal
moldings around its perimeter. Remove the panel from the boat.
Remove the damaged material from the panel. Give the panel a light
sanding. Spread Henry # 356 adhesive and apply new head liner
material. I am in the middle of this project right now on my 36 and
I am also taking the opportunity to core as many fastener holes and
remove as much exterior teak as possible.
