I posted one last pix of the polyurthane I used today on the spars.
This brew is indoor/outdoor, requires 3 coats and will protect longer
than I’ll be alive. It goes on easy with a brush. I did one coat and
will do the others tomorrow.
BTW, I’d like to know if anybody remembers the post about the guy who
made a “half-shell” holder for his spinnaker yard? I’ll post a pix of
how my spinnaker yard rests on the life-line (which I don’t like) and
sort of sticks out. I remember a post where somebody cut a round
PVC pipe in half, which equaled the right size to jam the yard
in. The PVC was attached to a stantion with some giznanny. Anyway, if
anybody recalls this, let me know where it was, please.
