I won the Freedom 21 offered on ebay

Well, I spent more than I wanted to… hope my wife doesn’t toss me
out on my ear. I’ll let you know about the sails/battens (seller
said they were in good shape, we’ll see).

If you’ve been following my saga, you know that I bought this boat
specifically for it’s mast. Well, now I’ve got TWO hulls. I’ll be
parting out the fin keel that I got on EBay with impunity.

Great shame that I’m in England & your “spare” fin-keel F21 is in the USA, otherwise I would buy it from you without hesitation since I have the odd & cranky UK modified twin lift keel F21 design and would love to switch to a fin keel version as the mechanism involved in keel hoisting is a real pain in the neck. Also I’m sure the deep fin keel is the very best keel option as regards windward efficiency and where I sail on a deep lake there is no need for the lift keel option.

Just for interest where will your boat be located so I can get what will probably be an astronomical estimate for shipping to the UK? Is the trailer included in the bare hull sale Doug? Also what price are you seeking for the bare hull with or without trailer?

The hull will be at US ZIP code 22556. I’m a very reasonable man and
could be persuaded to sell boat, trailer, whatever… (though it
would appear that the sails are spoken for). I’m going to get it on
Saturday and will post pics so you can see its condition.

I’m looking to recoop some of the cost of the Ebay sale + the trip to
FL to retrieve it. However, I understand that I got a good deal on
the mast since a new one is 4-5K USD. And I don’t intend on getting
all that from you, Wilf. Feel free to contact me @
