ISOMAT booms

Posted by lance_ryley (lance_ryley@…>)

When the PO’s did the conversion from wishbones to booms, they went
with Isomat sections. They’re definitely rugged, sturdy, and heavily
built. I’m looking for a supplier of parts for it besides rigrite.
Specifically, has anyone replaced the outhaul car with a replacement?

Thanks,
Lance

Lance,
You might be in luck. I’ve got a boom that was removed from a Tayana
42 for an in-boom furlng conversion. Anyhow it’s in storage down in
California. I’ll try and find out if it’s an Isomat. I think it is. If
anyone else needs parts or even the entire boom I’d like to get rid of
it. I’ve also got the gooseneck fitting for it sitting here in my
garage. Parts could be removed and shipped but if anyone wants the
whole boom it would have to be picked up near San Francisco.
