I own an F32 #108 and have developed a lesk that I determined was
coming in around the keel bolt threads. Our local boat yard tried to
correct the problem by tightening the keel bolts with the boat in the
water but this failed to hault the problem. The boat is now on its
cradle for the winter and I need to address the problem before
spring. Is this a common problem, Should the keel bolts be tightened
on a yearly basis? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have the same problem, also F32. It took me a long time to identify the
problem. I will have it done while the boat is up this spring. I hope it can be
done without lifting the engine.

As the owner of a 39 Express I don’t have keel bolts but I can tell you
that the ultimate solution to your problem which I had on my last boat
which was a Tartan Ten was to loosen the bolts, jack the boat up off
the keel after building a substantial support frame for the keel [you
only need an inch of space],clean out the bed joint area , check for
any soft or deteriorated fiberglass, apply a continious bed of 5200
structural sealant and reverse the process. You will never leak
again. I assume the boat is on jack stands. If so with the use of a
few addition stands you should be able to raise the boat off the keel.
