Does anyone know where to buy the polypropylene mast shims?
I am cleaning and rewiring the mast and need the shims inbetween the
mast wedge and boot.

I have two answers for you, sorry for the confusion.
(1) I don’t use these shims anymore.
(2) When I bought our F21 in 1999 I found the exact PP shim material in
the form of a child’s toboggan - I forget the exact marketing name -
but it may have been something like “Magic Carpet”.
The reason I don’t/can’t use the shims is that the yellow polyurethane
rubber mast collar that came with our boat was oversized for shims (ie.
it seems over time to have swollen - now it is too thick). Yes I have
filed it down with a coarse wood rasp, but I personally have found that
a wood wedge plus a 2lb lead hammer (from an MG sports car with “knock-
off” wire wheels) enables me to GENTLY “flog” the collar into position.
Removal is via the same technique. I DO NOT recommend using a
conventional hammer - please find the correct tools for this job.
When my current mast collar eventually needs replacement, them I will
pour/form a new one using “SparTite” with the correct PP shims.
