I want to attach a mooring mast buoy to the pendant on my mooring. The mast
buoys come
in three standard sizes: 48", 72", and 96". I’m sure 96" is too long, but what
is the best
length for a Freedom 25?

I’d suggest that you attach the mooring mast buoy to the pennants
only when you leave the mooring. I used a short (four foot) piece of
5/16" line and a brass quick-snap to attach through the spliced eyes
of the pennants. If you intend to single-hand a lot, I’d suggest the
72" long one for easily picking it up at the rail, and then walking
the whole shebang forward to the anchoring cleat on the foredeck. Herm

Thanks Herm,
I think I am going to go with the 72" one. You’re right; a lot easier when
single-handing.
