Mull 28 bilge pump hose replacement

Posted by leighjotom (talexand@…>)

And while we’re on the subject of the Mull 28, my bilge pump hose has
torn where it comes through the slot in the fiberglass in the bilge
under the shower sump pump basin. In checking the routing of the hose,
it appears to go behind the port liner under the head compartment and
into the bilge area. Has anyone replaced this hose or followed the
actual route? There is a small floorboard in front of the head that
can be removed (although one screw head is stripped, so I need to get a
screw extractor to remove it), but my guess is that panel will give me
access to the hose.

Tom,
The hose does indeed go through that area covered by the small panel.
Then up under the sink along the bulkhead and over to the port
topsides. Ours had a T fitting to merge the shower and bilge lines on
their way to the hull fitting.
