Fellow Mull 28 Owners:
Next project on our recently purchased Mull Freedom 28 is to trace
the water system, find an air leak, and a potential fresh water leak
in the system. The manual says there are two tanks (which there are)
and speaks of each having a valve. I only find one valve under the
galley sink. Can anyone tell me the fresh water valve locations and
what they control? Is there a Y valve somewhere that directs water to
the system from one tank or the other?

Ours (#24) had one plastic Y-valve, a Bosworth, under the sink, connected to the lines in the engine compartment. There did seem to be an air leak somewhere, so I just replaced the valve with a bronze unit. If fit with a little enlargement of the opening and some hose-to-NPT adapters. No more air leaks and it’s much easier to flip between the two tanks.
