Ahoy,
Just wanted to let everyone know a Freedom 21 is now being sailed in
New Mexico. She is 1983 hull #104, I brought her here from Escanaba
MI., where I beleive she lived most of her life.
Her name (Sara J.) will be changed soon to WindRush.
So far I have sailed her in 3 races and taken home trophies all 3
times. She is very fast and points well with her optional Genoa.
Does anyone know the % of the Genny?
I have sailed her in everything from a dead calm to 40+.
I amazed the entire fleet by being the only boat one day to fly a
Spinnaker in 25-35mph winds (doing 9kts on that run downwind, surfing
3ft waves).
