I just put pics of my boat - MyFreedom21.
I have some more questions:
How long should the lines be?
Does line color really matter?
What is the recommended line color?
What type of line should I buy?
In the pics:
Does the mast boot look ok?
What can I use to clean the keel, rudder, and hull?
It looks like I have some work cut out for me. I am going to put her
in Canyon Lake … I can’t wait!!!

The color does not “really” matter, although it is nice to be able to
instruct newbie crew to “pull on the red striped line” instead of
“pull on the stardboard sheet”.

Jake is correct in that it doesn’t really matter about the color of
the lines other than telling somebody to pull the red striped one.
For general cleaning I use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser blocks. They get
stuff off without scrubbing.
Your mast boot looks okay to me. Does it leak? You might want to see
Brian Rudder’s comments about his creation for a mast boot. He took
a highway cone, measured with a string and cut to fit. Can’t
remember
his website, but it’s in these messages someplace.
