Can someone tell me what size the prop should be for a 1984 Freedom
32? Mine seems to have quite a bit of corrosion.

My orginal 2 blade is a right hand 14" dia. x 14" pitch. (My engine is
the Yanmar 3GMD, not the more typical GM30F)
My 3 blade is 14" dia x a bit shorter pitch (about 12+", maybe.)

I have been told by boat mechanics including the local Yanmar dealer
that the only way to mate the correct prop to the transmission is to
get the transmission model # and any other info given. The engines
were not always mated to the same model transmission on these boats
(F32) and in the case of engine replacements, the old, incorrect prop
was often re-installed.

On my F-33 the transmission was not the same
as the one listed in the Yanmar manual on the boat. The reduction ratio was different
then in the manual. Luckily when I ordered my vari-prop they had me get the specs
off the plates on both the engine and the transmission so they could calculate properly.
