The formula for “hull speed” is based on a displacement vessel. E.g.,
a FULL keel sailboat, of which a Freedom 21 is not.

Yes, it WILL exceed “hull speed”. I had mine up to 7 on a beam reach
in a good breeze. You can’t ask for anything better than that!
