Good day,
I would second the motion about setting up a website. I got
more “fake” inquiries from the ads on Boattraderonline, boats.com,
etc. The ones where “I have a check for $10,000 more than your price,
please cash the check and give the balance to my agent for shipping”.
I used Yahoo for the website www.F33CatKetch.com. They had a
special…waive the $25 domain registration and its about $12 per
month for the “starter” package. I am fairly computer literate, but
I found the Yahoo Site Builder tool to be very easy to use… I have
maybe 10 to 12 hours of effort into building that website. I have
had many inquiries from many sources likes Craig’s list,
Sailboatlistings, etc and it’s easy to point everyone to the one site
for pic’s videos, etc.
I currently have 3 folks talking about scheduling surveys, etc… so
things are getting close.
