The water didn’t do any serious damage.
I think the water got in by filling up the cockpit to about 1 1/2 feet,
and then overflowing through the starboard locker. It seems to have
gaps between the hull and deck there on my boat.
I went looking at Boaters World and West Marine today and found electric
bilge pumps with auto float switches for ~$40.00. I’m thinking about
installing one if for nothing more than peace of mind.
