I recently had my F-33 shipped about 250 miles. I’ve heard lots of bad
stories with shipping companies and chose a local (Boston) shipper with
their own trucks and drivers. I can highly recommend them. Their
equipment was excellent. The driver took great care with padding and
double checking that everything was secure.
The coordinator at the office communicated well with both yards and
kept me appraised with the dates, times and progress during shipping.
It arrived within 15 minutes of the time he gave me.
The driver was very experienced with boats and masts and was able to
maneuver it some tight spaces.
Unfortunately I think they only handle New England and New York.

We also had a very positive experience moving our F32 in October 2006.
The transport company was Cross Country Boat Transport out of Hastings
MN. 651-437-2454. Our F32 has a deep keel, so max height was an issue.
They had to tip the boat forward to keep the bow pulpit below max
height. I don’t recall for sure, but we may have had to remove the wheel
to keep the transom end below the max height. The move was about 200
miles. We followed the truck to the new location. At one point they were
headed to go under a train tressel. I told my wife, there’s no way that
boat is gonna clear. I hit the breaks expecting that thing to launch off
the trailer and all over the road. At the last minute, the road dips and
the boat had clearance with room to spare. I restarted my heart and
continued on with the drive. A funny story with a good ending. These
guys really knew what they were doing; very professional and spot on
time. I recommend them to anyone. And they do this stuff coast to coast.
By the way, I’m only a past, satisfied customer, and receive nothing for
these comments.
